Nicosia to Limassol by Bus (Intercity 25)

Nicosia and Limassol are linked by a single public coach: Intercity route 25. No change of bus. You board in the capital centre and ride to Limassol New Port.

• From Nicosia centre? Board at Dionysios Solomos Square. Look for Intercity 25 toward Limassol / New Port.
• Where do you get off in Limassol? At New Port - Passenger Building, the coach terminus. Through stops exist on the way in (including the tourist strip), but the full run ends at the New Port.
• How often? Often half-hourly or better on weekdays; thinner on Sundays. Check the live tables rather than memorising a clock pattern.

Where to catch it in Nicosia

The Intercity city terminus is Dionysios Solomos Square: walking distance to Ledra Street and the old town. Coaches toward Limassol leave from here under short name 25.

Pay the driver when you board. This ticket is separate from any Nicosia city bus Motion single you may already have used to reach the square.

Some trips diverge inside Limassol (for example via Alampra or a northern loop). Board by short name 25 and check the headsign; the live table below lists what is running today.

Where you arrive in Limassol

The coach finishes at New Port - Passenger Building. That stop serves both directions of route 25: trips from Nicosia terminate here, and trips back to Nicosia start here.

From the New Port you still need a city bus or a walk for Molos, the old town, or the tourist area. The Havouza station used by Limassol Airport Express is a different hub; do not treat it as the Intercity 25 terminus.

Journey time is about an hour and three-quarters end to end, depending on traffic and the day's timetable. Use the live tables and the trip planner rather than a single printed minute count.

Coming back to Nicosia

Same route number, opposite direction. Board again at New Port - Passenger Building and ride to Solomos Square.

Sunday service is thinner than a weekday, but the corridor does not disappear. Always check the return before you commit to a same-day trip.
