Welcome to the BusCyprus Blog
Published
BusCyprus shows live bus arrivals, stop timetables and route maps for public transport across Cyprus, in your browser and in the Android app. This blog is for everything that does not fit inside the app itself.
What this blog covers
- Airport transfers: reaching Paphos and Larnaca airports by bus instead of by taxi
- Intercity travel: getting between Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Ayia Napa
- Fares and tickets: how to pay, what a journey costs, and which pass is worth it
- App guides: planning a trip, tracking a bus in real time, and finding the stop nearest you
Why not just read the timetable?
A timetable tells you when the next bus leaves. It does not tell you whether the last bus back runs late enough for your flight, which stop to wait at when three of them share a name, or what to do when a route is diverted. Those answers need context, and that is what we write here.
Posts get updated, not replaced
Routes, fares and timetables change. Rather than publishing a new version of an article every year, we update the existing post and keep the same address, so a link you saved stays useful. Every post shows when it was published and, if we have changed it, when it was last updated.
Start here
